SERVICES
Services For Individuals
Independence looks different for everyone. Our goal is simple - make everyday life easier, through technology that fits your needs. We are passionate about supporting people with disabilities to use technology.
We offer vendor-neutral assessments, aiming to match you with the equipment that suits you best.
All assessments are carried out by CORU-registered therapists who are highly experienced.
Our assessment services are here to guide you through the options with clarity, compassion, and specialist expertise.
Access Assessments
Access assessments explore how you best interact with technology. We consider your upper limb function, mobility, seating and positioning, sensory needs to find the access method that feels comfortable, reliable, and sustainable for you. This may include:
Touch access
Switch access
Eye gaze
Alternative mice or keyboards
Accessibility settings on mainstream devices
Our goal is to find the most efficient and empowering way for you to control the technology that matters in your life. We want to let you try before you buy, offering hand-on assessments to give you confidence about the equipment that will meet your needs.
Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC)
AAC is a core aspect of our service. From low tech to high tech, we have expertise to help you select the most appropriate options. Our assessments focus on supporting all forms of communication, across all of the environments that you spend time in.
Every AAC recommendation is tailored, practical, and designed to grow with you over time.
Environmental Control Technology
Environmental control systems (also known as smart home or EADL technologies) can support greater independence by allowing you to operate your surroundings with ease. We know how powerful (and fun!) it can be when you have the control.
Talk to us about how to have control over lights, plugs, doors, windows, entertainment devices and heating in your home.
We help identify simple, accessible ways to manage your environment, and love finding solutions that work.
Mounting & Positioning Solutions
We know how important it is that your equipment moves with you as you move through the world. We provide assessments for:
Wheelchair-mounting
Switch mounting
Bed, desk, or floor-based mounting systems
The aim is to ensure your device is always where you need it, when you need it — positioned comfortably and safely for everyday use.
Mobility & Powered Mobility Technology
For individuals who use powered mobility, we offer speciailised access assessments, with customisation options to support confident and independent movement. We work with you and your existing supports to explore:
Driving controls
Seating and positioning needs
Adapted access options (e.g., joysticks, switches, head arrays)
Integration with communication or environmental control devices.
